Teresa Esgaio (b. 1985, Nazaré, Portugal) is a Lisbon-based artist whose practice centres on drawing as a sustained act of attention and a way of thinking. Her work explores questions of time, memory and the limits of perception, treating drawing as a space where meaning can remain open rather than fixed. She graduated in Art and Multimedia at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon, and has been exhibiting her work in Portugal and abroad since 2015.
